(BLOOMINGTON) - Due to continued dangerous weather and travel conditions, non-emergency services and offices for the City of Bloomington will be closed on Tuesday, January 7th Both City and County Government officials coordinated planning on the closure and both will resume normal operations on Wednesday morning.
Sanitation Department services will resume on Wednesday, January 8th. This will result in a delayed schedule where residents who normally have pickup on Monday, will have pickup on Wednesday. Tuesday pickups will occur Thursday, Wednesday pickups on Friday and Thursday pickups on Saturday.

The City of Bloomington has also announced that the enforcement of parking regulations have been suspended until 8 a.m. on Wednesday. This suspension does not apply to handicapped parking spaces, loading zones or fire lanes.
