(BLOOMFIELD) - A Jasonville man will be in Greene Superior Court this morning for an initial hearing after he allegedly fractured the skull of his adult son during an altercation last November.
48-year-old Ronald Ernest Fox II was arrested on January 15 after on preliminary charges of battery causing serious bodily injury and disorderly conduct. He was released from jail after posting a $1,000 cash bond.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Jasonville police were called to a fight in the 400 block of South Lawton Street.
Fox and his son Trevin Wilson, John Harris and Travis Harris had all been at a bar when John Harris began flirting with some married women making the elderly Fox mad.
A series of heated exchanges followed. After leaving the bar, Harris came to Wilson's home to apologize to Fox. There the argument continued and that is when Wilson stepped between the men to defuse the situation and that is when his father attacked him.
During the fight, Fox threw his son to the ground and Wilson could not remember anything after that.
Wilson, who suffered a fractured skull, was treated at Greene County General.
