(UNDATED) - The application period for the Indiana Homeland Security Foundation Grant is now open, and runs through Friday, February 28.
The Indiana Homeland Security Foundation funds public safety projects at the local level. Eligible applicants include various public safety organizations, such as fire departments, law enforcement, emergency medical services, or emergency management agencies. Entities may apply for grants of up to $4,000.
Submissions should align with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security strategy, which will be provided on the online application. Submissions should also focus on one or more of the following state-identified priority areas:
Once received, proposals will be reviewed by the Indiana Homeland Security Foundation project committee.
In 2013, more than $370,000 was awarded through the Indiana Homeland Security Foundation.
