Man Arrested After Stealing Two Guns From Home

(OOLITIC) - Oolitic Police arrested a Bedford resident after they determined he broke into a home in the 800 block of Smith Avenue.

Oolitic Town Marshal Jon Jeffries and Deputy Allen went to the home to investigate.

A 22-caliber handgun and a 9 mm handgun were taken from the home.

Officers called the suspect, 18-year-old Seth McFarland, and asked that he meet them at the Oolitic Police Department.

After talking to McFarland, he was arrested on felony charges of burglary, two counts of theft and residential entry.
