(UNDATED) - The January-February issue of Outdoor Indiana magazine features Brown County State Park.
The attraction near Nashville is the largest and most heavily visited of all of Indiana state parks. But some scenic, historic and recreational offerings can get lost among the roughly 16,000 acres.
Learn more in the article on the park, which continues a series in which one state park or reservoir property is portrayed through 2016, the 100th anniversary of Indiana state parks. Short videos featuring the park's recent Christmas Bird Count and its autumn colors are at youtube.com/idnrvideos under "State Parks and Inns."
The 48-page full-color magazine also includes a feature on historic eateries around the state.
Outdoor Indiana is available now at most Barnes & Noble stores and many DNR properties for $4. A one-year, six-issue subscription costs $15. A two-year subscription is $28.
