Serious Accident Near Linton Leaves One Dead And Two Injured

(LINTON) - State Road 54 was closed between Switz City and Linton this morning because a traffic accident that left one man dead.

The three-vehicle crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. today on State Road 54, just east of County Road 800W -- between Switz City and Linton.

Deputy Coroner Carol Williams reported that one man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were transported to the hospital. One male was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital and a female was taken to an area hospital.
