(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured after the driver lost control of the vehicle and it flipped on South Leatherwood Road Wednesday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 39-year-old Brandi Rhoda was traveling east on South Leatherwood Road near Goosetown Road, when her 2004 Ford Escape went off the edge of the road on the north side of the road and hit a utility pole and mailbox.
The vehicle then flipped and came to a stop facing west on the north side of the roadway.
Rhoda suffered minor bleeding and injuries to her shoulder and upper arm.
Her passenger, 3-year-old Bracey Rhoda, suffered minor bleeding to her face.
Both were taken to IU Health Hospital by private vehicle for treatment.
