(WASHINGTON) - A Saturday morning accident sent two Washington residents to the hospital.
According to a police report, round 9:51 a.m. Saturday, 51 year old Mark Bennington, was driving a 1992 GEO Tracker south on Daviess County Road 150 West, near County Road 225 North, when the GEO went off the west side of the road and hit an REMC utility pole and then rolled several times before stopping in a field.
Bennington's passenger, 48-year-old Melissa Bennington, was thrown from the vehicle.
Both Mark and Melissa Bennington were taken by ambulance to Daviess Community Hospital and then flown by helicopter to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville.
