(PAOLI) - Bailey Hoover will soon get to see the other side of the pond as she travels to Europe as part of the People to People Student Ambassador Program.
The Paoli High School sophomore will visit seven countries during the European Heritage Tour. She will tour England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
During the 20-day trip, Bailey will plant trees in the Black Forest of Germany. She will see the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and the Eifel Tower in France and visit England's parliament and Buckingham Palace.
In the Netherlands, she will visit the Anne Frank House. She will also see the Swiss Alps.
She will be joined by 30 other students from Indiana.
Bailey is the daughter of Kevin and Crystal Chaplin of Paoli and Scott and Kelly Hoover of Evansville.
