(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police arrested a Bedford man Sunday morning after receiving several calls reporting break ins to several vehicles on the East side of Bedford.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says the last call came in around 5:55 a.m. from the 1900 block of G Street after the resident reported someone was attempting to break into their vehicle.
Officers located 22-year-old Dillon Pemberton in the 600 block of 19th Street. When police stopped him they found Pemberton had several of the items reported stolen from the vehicles.
He was arrested and is facing five counts of theft, six counts of unauthorized entry to vehicles and public intoxication.
Parsley says the case is still under investigation and more charges could be filed.
