(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested Saturday morning after police say he went to a home in the 1900 block of Stevens Lane.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to the home after a woman called reporting a man was in her home.
When police arrived, they learned the man was 35-year-old Josh England of Bedford. The woman had a protective order against England. Officers found England walking not far from the home.
Police asked England to stop and that is when he took off running. After a short pursuit, England stopped and surrendered.
He was arrested on charges of invasion of privacy and resisting arrest by fleeing.
