(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested after she got into a domestic fight with another family member Tuesday night.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says officers were called to the home in the 1000 block of 23rd Street just after 11 p.m.
When they arrived they found several family members in the yard and when they entered the home they found it in disarray.
According to witnesses, 42-year-old Deann Perry was upset and began throwing things around the house.
She then grabbed another female family member and pushed her to the floor, pulled her hair and kicked her in the head.
The family member attempted to call police and Perry allegedly broke several phones.
Perry was arrested on charges of battery and interfering with a 911 call. Police also discovered Perry was wanted on a warrant for a parole violation.
