(NEWBURGH) - Authorities say the man found dead at Alcoa aluminum plant was from Martinsville.
Warrick County Sheriff Brett Kruse says investigators have identified the dead man as 35-year-old Joseph Nelson. His body was found Monday morning by workers in the coal-handling system of the power plant at Alcoa's Warrick Operations along the Ohio River just east of Evansville.
Kruse says investigators believe foul play could be involved because Nelson's injuries aren't consistent with an accident, but didn't release specifics.
An Alcoa spokesman says the company accounted for all of its workers.
