(DAVIESS CO.) - Daviess County officers recovered two stolen vehicles.
The cases were unrelated.
On Monday night a customer at the CVS in Washington reported her Ford Range stolen.
The woman told police she was approached in the parking lot by a man on a bicycle who asked the woman for money for food. The woman bought the man food and then went into the CVS and left her keys in her truck. When she came back out the truck was gone.
Police found the vehicle abandoned on I-69 later that night. No arrests have been made in that case.
Then a 2003 Toyota truck was stolen from a home on State Road 257.
The truck was found near Corydon Ridge in Harrison County later that night after police asked Verizon to pinge the owner's cell phone that was left in the truck.
