(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are investigating provocative graffiti that was painted onto the wall of the Salvation Army building.
The Operations Manager Scott Parnell called police Tuesday morning after discovering the words "Salvo hates fags" in black pain on the east side of the store on North Rogers Street.
Parnell says the Salvation Army has received accusations of discriminating against the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community for several years through Facebook posts and emails, which they say are untrue.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call police.
