(MONROE CO.) - Monroe County is now under a travel watch (Orange).
Only essential travel is recommended.
"Roads are extremely slick. Visibility poor and snow accumulating as a rapid pace," says Monroe County Emergency Management Director Jim Comerford.
Owen County is also under a travel watch.
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security has issued travel advisories in Morgan, Greene, Brown, Lawrence and Jackson counties.
