(BEDFORD) - Tractor Supply is helping dogs to find a loving home.
On Saturdays, the business has opened their doors to a number of dogs from the White River Humane Society.
But last weekend was special; not only did the store showcase the pups, they donated two skids full of pet food and treats to the shelter.
White River Humane Society Board President Buddy Hendricks says off site adoption locations are vital to the success of finding animals homes, says many can't handle going to the shelter and seeing the high number of animals needing homes.
The shelter has a website, at www.whiteriverhumanesociety.org and a Facebook page, where residents can look at animals up for adoption.
Residents can also support the shelter, by donating cleaning supplies, volunteering, or donating pet food.
The shelter is also looking for donations to auction off at the annual Bone Appetit fundraiser dinner and auction on April 26.
For more information about the event contact the WRHS or any board member.
