(BROWN CO.) - Two homeless men were arrested on a number of charges in Brown County last week.
Officers from the Brown County Sheriff's Department were called to a home in the area of Petro Road last Friday at 2:390 p.m. to investigate the burglary, theft and attempted arson to a shed
That same day at 7:45 p.m., the property owner called police again to report that an unknown man was yelling at him and hitting his vehicle window with some type of weapon.
Officers from the Sheriff's Department, Nashville Police and Indiana State Police arrived and found two men hiding in the woods in the 4800 block of Petro Road. Police found evidence and arrested Allen Beasley and Jarred Parton, on charges of burglary, theft, attempted arson, criminal mischief, trespass, possession of meth and marijuana.
Parton was taken to the Brown County Jail. Beasley was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital, because police say he suffered hypothermia after falling into water while attempting to hide from police. After being treated he was taken to jail.
