(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man is facing numerous drug charges after the Lawrence County Drug Task Force linked him to another arrest.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, 22-year-old James Hedrick was linked to the arrest of 20-year-old Amber Prince. Hendrick is Prince's boyfriend.
Prince was arrested March 11 after Oolitic Police served a search warrant at an apartment in the 600 block of West Ninth Street. Prince was wanted on a probation violation. During the police found several meth related items.
Police also arrested 53-year-old Gregory Cramer on felony charges of possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance and reckless possession of drug paraphernalia and Amber Prince, who was wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke probation.
But after that arrest, the Lawrence County Drug Task Force was armed with a warrant and went to Prince's home and found meth, legend drugs, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.
Prince, who is still being held in the Lawrence County Jail on the probation violation, was then served with an arrest warrant on the following felony charges: possession of meth, two counts of possession of a legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and carrying a handgun without a permit.
Now James Hedrick is linked to those drug items. Sheriff Craig says Hedrick was arrested Wednesday afternoon on the three warrants for failure appear and now he is facing the same charges as Prince.
