ISP Sergeant Aaric Correll Promoted

(UNDATED) - Sergeant Aaric Correll has been promoted to the rank of First Sergeant to serve as the Assistant District Commander for the Jasper Indiana State Police Post.

Correll is a native of Robinson, Illinois and a 1993 graduate of Robinson High School.

After high school, Correll earned an Associate Degree in Law Enforcement Conservation from Vincennes University and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from Indiana State University.

Correll graduated from the Indiana State Police Recruit Academy in 1999.

Upon graduation he was assigned to the Jasper Post and primarily patrolled Martin and Daviess Counties.

In October, 2011, Correll was promoted to Sergeant, supervising troopers working in Martin and Daviess Counties.

During his career, Correll has been a member of the ISP Underwater Search and Rescue Team, the Tactical Intervention Platoon team leader, and is a Field Training Officer.

As the Assistant District Commander, First Sergeant Correll's responsibilities will include serving as the District Commander when needed, overseeing civilian and police personnel, and managing and maintaining district facilities and resources.

First Sergeant Correll and his wife, Jodi, reside in Pike County with their children.
