(BLOOMFIELD) - While Jordan Buskirk of Jasonville was failing a lie detector test on June 10 regarding the disappearance of 19-year-old Katelyn Wolfe, divers discovered the Linton teen’s body submerged in a Greene-Sullivan State Forest lake.
Buskirk admitted to putting a rope around Wolfe's neck and tightening it until she lost consciousness.
Her killers had smothered and strangled her, tied a rope around her body, attached a 20-pound weight and thrown her into the lake.
Buskirk plead guilty to charges of murder, criminal confinement and counts of conspiracy to commit murder and rape. He will be sentenced today.
His partner in crime, 26-year-old Randal Crosley of Jasonville was sentenced to 81 years for the murder and other charges.
Greene County Prosecutor Jarrod Holtsclaw says he will ask for the maximum penalty.
