(LOUISVILLE KY.) - Louisville Metro Police say they arrested a 29-year-old man after he was found with a 13-year-old girl who had been reported missing in Greene County.
Police say they received a tip that Howard Estes had taken the girl to the Louisville area -- specifically a residence on Deveron Dr., near the intersection of Farnsley Rd. and Fern Lea Rd. When officers contacted Estes at that location, they allegedly found the missing girl with him.
Police say the girl was "extremely intoxicated" and told police that Estes had given her the alcohol. She was taken to Kosair Children's Hospital for treatment and observation.
The girl's father allegedly told police that Estes did not have permission to take his daughter.
Estes was arrested and charged with custodial interference and engaging in an unlawful transaction with a minor.
