(BEDFORD) - A man was injured and then issued a citation after a crash on I Street Friday night.
According to a Bedford Police report, 33-year-old Curtis L. Sykes suffered pain to his lower leg.
According to police, Sykes was traveling north on I Street near 19th on his 1987 Honda motorcycle when the bike was struck by a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by 27-year-old Nichole Wright.
Sykes told police Wright was turning left onto I Street from 19th Street and pulled out in front of him.
Wright told officers she looked both ways but did not see Sykes, so she turned left. When she did notice Sykes, she says she did not have time to stop.
Sykes was issued a citation for operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle endorsement. He was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew.
