(BICKNELL) - A missing Bicknell teen with special needs was found Tuesday night—after a multiple agency search.
Officials say around 6pm the teen had left his home to search for the family dog, but failed to return.
Different people reported seeing the teen along a tree line near Ohio Street in Bicknell.
A Code Red Alert was issued for residents of Bicknell asking them to help in the search. The Bicknell Police Department, Knox County Sheriffs Department, Knox County Emergency Management officials, DNR officers and community members took part in the search.
Around 9 p.m., a homeowner on Ohio Street finally found the teenager unconscious, behind a shed on her property.
The teen was immediately transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.
