(BLOOMINGTON) - Kenna the red-tailed hawk is back home at WildCare, where she will resume her duties as an ambassador educating others about birds in the wild.
The 3-year-old bird escaped March 22 as she was being transported into a building that evening after spending time outside with her trainers.
Kenna was spotted by several people flying low in the Fieldstone subdivision, and was recaptured there Wednesday afternoon in a vacant lot between homes.
