(MITCHELL) - A resident in the 3200 block of North Meridian Road reported their 15-year-old son had runaway just before 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
Sheriff Sam Craig says that officers searched for the boy along the railroad bed on Twin Bridge Road west of Sheeks Road.
They then searched an area on Yockey Road and in Spring Mill State Park.
A Department of Natural Resource officer found the teen unharmed at 2:19 a.m. Thursday and took the boy to the Sheriff's Department where his parents picked him up a short time later.
