(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department will be holding a testing process on March 29th at 8 a.m.
The testing is for anyone interested in becoming a police officer, a reserve police officer or to hold any other position with the department.
Those applying for an officer position will also have to complete a physical test.
But before taking the test, those applying must complete a written application on file by March 25.
Sheriff Sam Craig says there currently no opens at the department, but official use the testing result to hire when openings exist.
Questions can be directed to Sheriff Craig or Chief Deputy Mike Branham.
