(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police arrested three people after they went to a home in the 3100 block of Washington Avenue Tuesday night after they received a tip that a person wanted on a warrant was there.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, when officers arrived they noticed three people in the home. After knocking on the door, they saw a woman run up the stairs.
"Officers questioned the two remaining individuals and they refused to cooperate with the officers," Parsley says. "They refused to admit that another person was in the home. When officers told them they saw the third person go up the stairs, they finally admitted the woman was there."
Officers then yelled for the woman, 28-year-old Jenny Hill of Bedford, to come downstairs. Hill eventually complied with the order.
Parsley says that Hill was wanted on two warrants for failure to appear.
Hill was also charged with maintain a common nuisance, dealing and possession of meth within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after officers found the drugs and the drug paraphernalia.
Police also arrested 32-year-old Angela Pridemore of Bedford and 39-year-old Jake Blake of Mitchell on a charge of obstruction of justice for refusing to cooperate with police and visiting a common nuisance.
