(BEDFORD) - Two people were arrested after a Lawrence County Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Mitchell Road Sunday.
According to Sheriff Sam Craig, the officer stopped the vehicle after he noticed the license plate was not attached properly and the license plate was not registered to that vehicle.
Officers ran a K-9 around the vehicle and the dog alerted officers of possible drugs in the vehicle.
Police arrested 31-year-old, Amber England and 36-year-old Jeremy Marsh, both of Bedford.
England was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, a legend drug and drug paraphernalia.
Marsh was charged with maintaining a common nuisance.
