Washington Mayor Proclaims April The Month Of The Military Child

(WASHINGTON) - Washington Mayor Joe Wellman proclaimed April, the Month of the Military Child.

Jane Ann Beard from the Extension office reported more than more than 20,000 Hoosier children have one or both parents serving in the military.

They asked everyone to wear purple on April 15th in recognition of military children.
