(BEDFORD) - A Williams woman, who is an employee at Wood Forest Bank, was arrested after the lost prevention officer at Walmart determined she was shoplifting.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called at 5:23 p.m. on Saturday to a report that 48-year-old Joyce Ward had put meats, vegetables, cheese and other grocery items in a bag to conceal them and walked out of the store without paying for the items.
Ward was arrested in the parking lot and charged with theft.
