(BEDFORD) - It’s time for the Bedford Boat And Sportsman Club Annual Fundraiser for The Youth Hunter Safety Course and Big Deer Contest.
This two day course teaches safe hunting procedures, ethics, resource conservation and firearm safety. A meal will be provided both days and those that complete the course will receive a shirt and gift bag. There is no charge to participate and the course is open to anyone age 10 and over.
The week-end following the course will be The Big Deer Contest, prizes will be awarded to the children who tag the biggest deer.
The Annual Auction is scheduled for Saturday at 1pm at the Bedford Boat & Sportsman Club. The community can support with monetary or merchandise donations.
Donations are tax deductible and a Tax ID number will be provided. Merchandise donations will be auctioned off or used as prizes for the course winners.
The Auction has been a great success, without it and the donations from the community the course would not be as successful. The Club will be open to the public for the auction and everyone is welcome to attend.
