(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man who was wanted on a warrant for not paying child support is now facing drug charges.
Oolitic Deputy Marshal Bill Allen went to a home in the 400 block of M Street at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday to arrest John Staggs on the warrant. While at the home Allen discovered a white powder that tested positive for meth.
Staggs was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay child support and is now facing charges of possession of meth, reckless possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
Officer Allen was assisted on scene by Bedford Police Officer Ed Allen.
