(BEDFORD) - Indiana Conservation officers rescued two women and a 3-year-old boy from a vehicle stranded in flood water Wednesday night.
26-year-old Sarah Brazzel, another adult passenger and Brazzel's son were escorted to safety after their vehicle stalled on Tunnelton Road just south of Bedford.
Shortly after 10 p.m., officers were called to the area and located Brazzel's Mitsubishi Eclipse which had stalled after she attempted to drive through the high water.
Officers walked through the rushing water and escorted Brazzel and her two passengers to safety.
No one was injured, but Brazzel's car had to be pulled from the flood waters by a wrecker.
Indiana Conservation Officers strongly encourage motorists to avoid driving through standing or flowing high water.
