(BLOOMFIELD) - A 34-year-old Bloomfield resident was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly growing a marijuana plant on his windowsill which led to a police investigation.
Greene County Sheriff's Department received an anonymous call concerning the plant Saturday. Just After midnight, police went to the home of Jason Creager and saw the marijuana plant on the windowsill.
Armed with a search warrant officers knocked on the door, but when they entered the plant in the windowsill had been pulled from the pot. Officers found it hid under a floor mat near the door. They also found five rolled paper towels containing marijuana seeds, a smoking device with marijuana residue, plant food and six seed starter kits.
Creager faces preliminary charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
