Bloomington House Fire Put Out Quickly

(BLOOMINGTON) - A fire broke out Saturday in a two-story rental house at 924 East Atwater Avenue.

Bloomington Firefighters were called to the fire at 12:37 p.m.

Bloomington Fire Department Sgt. Jeremy Goad says everyone was out of the home when firefighters arrived and no one was injured.

The fire was under control in about five minutes with no major visible damage to the outside of the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
