Mr. BNL Competition Set For Tonight

(BEDFORD) - The BNL Renaissance11th annual Mr. BNL, an all-male beauty contest, is tonight at 7 p.m. at the BNL Performing Arts Center.

The teens will be judged in five categories at the annual spoof on beauty pageants. Mr. BNL is the primary fundraiser of Renaissance, which encourages and rewards students for good attendance and improving their grades.

Nick Mullis will replace longtime emcee Jeff Callahan, who is BNL's new baseball coach.

Participating in the competition are - Devin Anderson, Chris Brown, Eric Cecil, Will Cross, Morgan Cummings, Josh Elliott, Dusty Groh, Tyler Harrison, Kyle Hatfield, Matt Higgins, Devin New, Tanner Romine, T.J. Underwood and Alex Wong.

Each candidate represents a school club or team. The teens are judged on a fitness routine (20 points), costume (25 points), talent (20 points), formalwear/interview (25 points) and overall impression (10 points.)

Mr. BNL tickets cost $5 for adults and students, $3 for children younger than 10, free for children younger than five. Those wanting to place a people choice vote will pay an additional $1.
