(BEDFORD) - The deadline for enrolling in Lawrence County 4-H is April 15.
Anyone interested in learning more about 4-H is invited to attend a 4-H Night program from 5-7-p.m. on April 3 at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds Expo Hall. The night will feature a performing arts festival.
Information about the various 4-H programs and 4-H clubs will be available throughout the evening. The 4-H Limestone Robotics Team will be available for demonstrations. A silent auction also is planned. Volunteers who work with 4-H will be available to assist with on-the-spot enrollment for anyone who is interested. The performing arts festival will begin at 7 p.m. with members of 4-H Junior Leaders serving as emcees for the performances.
The Lawrence County Extension Service reports 4-H is the nation's largest youth development program focused on learning by doing. Eighteen clubs and more than 60 project areas and activities are available. The Shooting Sports program is returning to Lawrence County 4-H this year, and a robotics program is new this year.

Enrollment can be completed online by visiting the county Website and choosing the online enrollment link, which allows for online credit card payment. Fees processed in the Lawrence County Extension Service office must be paid by check or cash.
