(BEDFORD) - One person was injured after a two-vehicle collision on 16th and J streets Wednesday night.
According to a Bedford Police report, 16-year-old Barbara Johnson was driving south on J Street and was approaching 16th Street when she failed to stop at the red stop light.
Johnson's 1998 General Motors pickup t-boned a 2014 Ford Escape driven by 51-year-old Debra York, who was traveling east on 16th Street.
York was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be freed by firefighters from the Bedford Fire Department.
York complained of back pain at the scene of the accident. Johnson was not injured during the incident.
Johnson was cited for disregarding an automatic signal.
