(ODON) - The Odon Volunteer Fire Department was called to a house fire at 115 East Cooper Street around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
By 4:55 p.m. the home was fully engulfed in flames.
No one was injured during or while battling the blaze.
While firefighters were fighting the fire, they had to call for Sheriff's Deputies to handle an altercation that had broken out between the renter of the residence and the father of the children residing there.
Then at 7:45 p.m. firefighters returned to the home after a neighbor reported the debris was smoking heavily. Firefighters were on the scene until 8:15 p.m.
No other details were available this morning.
