(MITCHELL) - Hoosier Uplands Economic Development Corporation will be hosting an internship program called “Today’s Interns, Tomorrow’s Leaders”.
The program allows graduating seniors and current college student to intern in both part-time and full-time positions.
Hoosier Uplands is a non-profit organization that serves a five county region including Crawford, Lawrence, Martin, Orange and Washington counties. Programming within the organization includes: Aging, Education, Head Start, Early Head Start, Home Health & Hospice, Mental Health, Health Prevention, Education, Housing Assistance, Energy Assistance and more.
The interns need to have majors or interest in the following fields: health, social work, psychology, human services, business, management, informatics and human resources. Students will be matched with a program that will relate to their education or area of interest.
Positions will begin in the middle to end of May.
