(BLOOMINGTON) - An Indiana University student is facing drug charges after an undercover police officer found he was making the hallucinogenic drug DMT in his apartment Monday night.
20-year-old Bogdan Jevtix was arrested and is facing charges of possession, manufacturing and selling a narcotic.
The drug, dimethyltryptamine, is synthesized from root and tree barks and plant mixtures. When smoked, DMT can cause powerful psychedelic experiences. The drug can be sniffed, smoked or injected.
