(MITCHELL) - Mitchell School Board members voted this week to increase the price for school breakfasts and lunches effective with the 2014-2015 school season.
The cost of breakfast for students at Burris and Hatfield schools will increase by 15 cents and will be $1.25. The cost of lunch for students at the two schools will increase by 10 cents, making it $1.80.
Meal prices for students at Mitchell Junior High School and Mitchell High School will go up 15 cents for breakfast, taking the cost to $1.25, and will increase by 10 cents for lunch, taking the cost to $1.90.
Adults at all of the schools will pay 15 cents more for breakfast, making the cost $1.50. Adults will pay 25 cents more for lunch with the cost to be $3.
