(BEDFORD) - The volunteers who comprise the auxiliary for St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford are again selling geraniums.
This year, the geraniums are available in salmon, red and hot pink. They cost $4.50 each.
Money raised by the auxiliary is used to give an annual $1,000 scholarships to an Orleans, Mitchell and Bedford North Lawrence High School student. Money is also used to purchase equipment for the hospital and provide patient services to those who stay at the hospital, provides teddy bears for sick children, and clothing for people who are taken to the emergency room and their clothing must be cut off for treatment.
Anyone interested in buying a geranium can call Byron Buker at 275-3331 ext 1408 or Ext. 1017 or at 279-2630.
