The event, which focuses on tobacco, alcohol and drug prevention, will showcase more than 30 booths. They include a photo booth, airbrush face painting, a National Guard obstacle course, prize drawings and balloon animals. A fireworks display will close the event.
There will also be stage performances including a puppet show, martial arts and exercise demonstrations The Lawrence County 4-H Dog Club will perform dog agility stunts in the show arena.
Last year, more than 4,000 people attended the event and Stingel is hoping for more families to attend this year.
The event could not be possible without the large contributions from Hoosier Uplands, the Local Coordinating Council, Duke Energy, Bedford Urban Enterprise, Bedford Federal Savings Bank, ReGeneration/Capstone Ministries and other community members.
