(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after an accident Friday morning on Trogden Lane.
According to Lawrence County police report, 53-year-old Danny L. Treanor was crossing the northbound lanes of Ind. 37 at the same time 35-year-old Darren T. Armstrong of Springville was driving north on State Road 37.
According to police, Treanor pulled his 1999 General Motors pickup truck into the path of Armstrong's 1977 Chevrolet K-10 pickup truck.
Treanor suffered an abrasion to his face and was taken Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital. Armstrong was not injured during the incident.
After being treated at the hospital, Treanor was taken to jail on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior offense, operating a vehicle while intoxicated by a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department and an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew assisted at the scene.
