(BLOOMFIELD) - 33-year-old Aaron Sissman of Bloomfield allegedly tried to escape law enforcement officials Sunday morning after being informed he was wanted on a warrant.
The Greene County Sheriff's Department tried to serve the arrest warrant at around 10:30 a.m., but Sissman left the residence on South Walnut Road by a side door and ran through a fence and into the woods to escape deputies.
Sissman was stopped near Ash Road and he was arrested.
In July of last year, Sissman was arrested on felony charges of resisting law enforcement with the use of a vehicle, battery resulting in bodily injury when the victim is a law enforcement officer, receiving stolen property, three counts of neglect of a dependent/putting the dependent in a situation that endangers the dependent's life or health, criminal recklessness when the defendant is armed with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor charges of resisting law enforcement, reckless driving and driving while suspended with a prior within the last 10 years.
A warrant to revoke Sissman's bond was filed on May 1.
He now faces an additional charge of escape.
