(BLOOMINGTON) - Two Bloomington men were arrested Saturday night after a fight.
Bloomington Police were called to the 1200 block of West 13th Street just before 9 p.m. after a report of a man, armed with a knife causing a disturbance.
According to Sgt. Jame Batcho, 24-year-old Jeffrey Owen pulled out a knife and threatened to stab someone. 35-year-old Anthony Harris and a small child were nearby and he reportedly punched Owens in self defense.
Harris then threw the knife into the bushes and, according to Batcho, punched another man nearby and shoved a woman on the ground.
Owens was transported to the hospital with injuries to his face and later booked into Monroe County Jail on preliminary charges of intimidation, a felony, and public intoxication.
Police also arrested Harris on preliminary charges of battery, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and criminal mischief. His bond is set at $2,000 surety, $500 cash but is on hold for probation.
Owen's bond is $10,000 surety, $500 cash.
