(PATOKA) - Join the Patoka Lake Naturalist on Sunday at 12:30p.m. for an extended hike to Totem Rock.
Hike along beautiful creeks, rock outcroppings, and lush hilly forest landscape. Hear stories of life along the Patoka River for Native Americans and the early European settlers.
Participants should bring refreshments and wear sturdy hiking shoes for this 3.5 mile trek back in time.
Discover the history behind Totem Rock and the people who once called this area home.
Participants should meet at the Visitor Center no later than 12:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time to begin this journey.
The entrance fee of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents ($7 out of state) is required for the Newton Stewart State Recreation Area, Patoka Reservoir, located north of Wickliffe Indiana, Highway 164.
