(MITCHELL) - Lawrence County police are investigating the burglary of a home in the 600 block of Watson Merry Road.
Officers received a call of an alarm sounding at 11:09 a.m. Saturday morning, but the owner told police to disregard the alarm because he would have a family member check the home.
Sheriff Sam Craig says the family member discovered several tools and a lawn mower were missing.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Lawrence County Police Department.
